Addall XR Review Overview
Adall XR is a cheap caffeine pill pretending to be a nootropic. Simple as that. The name of the product has been purposefully chosen to sound like Adderall, suggesting that this is a kind of OTC Adderall alternative. in reality, Addall XR is a rip-off stuffed full of caffeine and a couple of cognitive enhancers, likely in tiny quantities. If you just want a quick energy hit, drink a cup of strong, black coffee. But if you’re looking for comprehensive cognitive enhancement, don’t waste your money on Addall XR. Use a professional-quality energy supplement and nootropic.
What is Addall XR?
Did you ever find yourself losing interest in your work throughout the day? Most of us are familiar with the difficulty of staying focused and motivated while working on a task. All of us have needed a boost in some way or another at one point in our lives. It could be a student facing a difficult finals week or an office worker who has had a lot of work piled on them before the weekend. Or, it could be someone with a passion project that you want to focus on.
Many people will search for a supplement to improve their concentration and focus, regardless of the circumstances. Although Adderall is a well-known drug, it requires a prescription and can have side effects, especially if you do not have ADHD or an Adderall prescription from your doctor!
There are many other options that claim to be equally effective, such as Addall XR.
Addall XR (also known as AddFocus XR) is a capsule that claims to aid those who are unable to focus for extended periods of time. The idea behind Addall XR is that the brain can be given assistance throughout the day in order to keep it functioning at 100% capacity.
The makers of Addall XR were apparently were well aware of the long-term side effects of Modafinil and Adderall. They wanted to create something that would help their concentration and not compromise their future health.
They discovered that people have difficulty focusing due to two main reasons: a lack of nutrients in their diets or hyper-stimulated brains from the digital age. They created Addall XR after narrowing down the nutrients that work best with these two processes.
Addall XR promises to:
- Increase concentration
- Quickly boost energy levels
- Sharpen focus
However, we have heard all this before!
We know by now that makers of supplements like Addall XR tend to be quite liberal with the truth. Whenever we see a stack that has been named to sound similar to Adderall, we know we’re probably dealing with a cheap caffeine pill or an outright scam.
Is Addall XR different? Does Addall XR really work? Is this the best nootropic for energy on the market today? Read our full Addall XR review below to find out!
Addall XR Ingredients
Addall XR doesn’t use as many ingredients as other supplements, which can be a good or bad thing. It all comes down to the ingredients used, their effectiveness, and the dosage.
You need to look at the Addall XR ingredients label in order to properly judge whether or not this caffeine pill works. Here’s the ingredients list:
In case that image isn’t clear, here is the Addall XR ingredients list along with known dosages:
- Thiamin – 15mg
- Riboflavin – 21mg
- Vitamin B6 – 51mg
- Proprietary Blend – 1,413mg
Right away, we see a huge problem with the Addall XR ingredients list – THE PROPRIETARY BLEND! Proprietary blends are always a clear sing of an absolute rip-off supplement. We will explain this in greater detail later in the review, but we’ll say right now that this is a major RED FLAG. This is especially true when caffeine is involved!
Let’s look at each Addall XR ingredient one-by-one and see if they deliver on the promised benefits of this caffeine pill.
Thiamin (Vitamin B1)
Thiamine, also known as Thiamin, is an essential vitamin that can be dissolved in water. It is commonly called Vitamin B1 since it was the first B Vitamin to be discovered. It is essential, which means that our bodies don’t make it. It must be included in your diet to ensure that you get the daily recommended intake.
Thiamin can be found in all cells. It aids the body to convert food into energy. It can be used to produce adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), which is responsible for transporting energy from one cell into another.
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2)
Riboflavin, another water-soluble essential vitamin, is something we need to consume daily. It is also known as Vitamin B2 and plays a major role in the body’s ability convert food into energy.
It will also aid in the digestion of fats, carbohydrate, and proteins. Vitamin B2 can also help with the production of red blood cell and oxygen utilization. You can also see the benefits to your skin and digestive system.
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 is another of the B-complex vitamins. It is also a water-soluble, essential vitamin for the body. You don’t have to worry about Vitamin B6 getting a fancy name — pyridoxine.
It will, like all the others, play an important role in the metabolism, creation of red blood cells and the production and use of neurotransmitters. It can increase energy and elevate your mood.
Proprietary Blend
Addall XR’s “Proprietary Blend”, which contains three ingredients, includes caffeine, Bacopa Monnieri and GABA. The blend’s total dosage is 1,413mg. However, it does not specify the individual ingredient servings.
Bacopa Monnieri is a herb used in Ayurvedic medicine to enhance cognition, improve mood and support overall health. But Bacopa is far from a traditional medicine gimmick; clinical research has shown that Bacopa monnieri consumption improves memory function, particularly in older people sufffering with mild cognitive impairment.
Another ingredient in the proprietary blend is GABA. Also known as gamma amylbutyric acid (GABA), GABA is a neurotransmitter that our bodies naturally produce. GABA is the main inhibitory neurotransmitter in humans; this means GABA calms your CNS down, reducing neural activity and alleviating anxiety.
Finally, there’s caffeine. We all love the effects caffeine has on our bodies. Caffeine is an extremely powerful stimulant which has immediate effects on both your brain and your body. Caffeine rapidly reduces fatigue, sharpens focus and boosts motivation. Larger doses can make you quickly feel ‘locked in’ on tasks and help keep tiredness at bay for hours on end. However, this comes at a cost. Caffeine causes side effects in almost everybody, and very large doses can be lethal.
Our Thoughts on the Addall XR Ingredients
I have no idea who came up with the Addall XR formula, but it makes no sense whatsoever.
Caffeine, GABA and Bacopa monnieri do not go well together at all. Caffeine and GABA have almost contradictory effects, with caffeine acting as a CNS accelerator and GABA applying the brakes. Consuming these substances at the same time in the same stack is counter-productive and ultimately pointless.
Bacopa monnieri is a fanstatic nootropic for enhancing memory and cognitive function related to memory in older people. However, Bacopa monnieri only has measurable effects when taken consistently for several weeks. Most studies looking at Bacopa monnieri lasted at least 12 weeks, and most did not observe meaningful improvements in memory function until 6 weeks in. We therefore don’t see why Addall XR contains this nootropic ingredient since the supplement is not designed for long-term, daily use!
Overall then, I think Addall XR is a very confused supplement.
What we have is a potentially massive dose of caffeine – we arne’t told how much for some reason – along with two ingredients which will either have no benefit whatsoever or work against the caffeine without negating any of the associated side effects!
Regardless of whether you’re looking for a caffeine pill or a specialist nootropic for energy, there are better options out there than AddallXR. We strongly recommend sticking to supplements with transparent formulas and sensible doses of proven nootropics.
Dosage & Packaging
You can see that Addall XR contains 6 ingredients in total, all of which are supported by science. However, I do have concerns about some of the dosages.
Let’s have a look at them again:
- Thiamin – 15mg
- Riboflavin – 21mg
- Vitamin B6 – 51mg
- Proprietary Blend – 1,413mg
The main problem with Addall XR – apart from the lack of potent nootropics – is the fact that we have no idea how all of the most important ingredients are dosed. Above all, the lack of information on how much caffeine we get in each serving of Addall XR is seriously worrying.
Because the proprietary blend is 1,413mg in total size, it means there could be as much as 1,400mg of caffeine in each serving of Addall XR. To list an ingredient as part of a proprietary blend, a manufacturer only needs to include a detectable amount. This is precisely why supplement manufacturers use proprietary blends – to hide the fact that they’re stuffing their blends with the cheapest ingredients and adding in a few milligrams of the expensive nootropics at the end.
Addall XR Reviews: What are consumers saying?
Customers have different Addall XR opinions. Some say it works well for them, while others claim it doesn’t have the right packaging. Due to the different body types, the product may not be appropriate for everyone.
Memory loss affects people of all ages. Professionals are often unable to unplug from their work and students are under immense pressure to perform. The brain is overloaded with information. Memory enhancement products must contain clinically proven ingredients. This will ensure that not only memory but also concentration, focus, and attention can be improved. There are no independent reviews of this product on trusted review sites such as Reviews.io and Trustpilot.
Memory problems are affecting people of all ages more than ever. Students are constantly under enormous pressure and are often unable to disconnect themselves from their work. The brain is overloaded with information. Quality memory enhancement products should have clinically tested ingredients that can help improve not only memory but also focus and concentration. Memory products should optimize brain function and mental health. A memory product must be safe and gentle to encourage cognitive function.
Addall XR Side Effects
Is Addall XR safe?
The simple answer is “no”.
Addall XR contains an unknown quantity of caffeine. Most importantly, the dose of caffeine in Addall XR is potentially MASSIVE.
Because Addall XR uses a proprietary blend, we only know how much each serving weighs in total. So that means there could be as much as 1,000mg of caffeine in Addall XR for all we know!
We doubt there is that much caffeine in this nootropic stimulant stack, but we do think the dose is alarmingly high. otherwise why not list it on the label for users to see?
Then there are concerns about consuming potentially massive doses of GABA. Again, we have no idea how much GABA is in Addall XR but there could be 1400mg. This much GABA would invariably cause side effects.
Some of the potential side effects of Addall XR are:
- Jitters
- Anxiety
- Heart palpitations
- Shortness of breath
- Dizziness
- Irritability
- Insomnia
- Headaches
- Sleeepiness
- Muscle soreness
- Nausea
- Stomach cramps
- Diarrhea
These are just some of the potential Addall XR side effects. using this caffeine pill regularly will increase your risk of heart attack and stroke.
If you experience any side effects while taking Addall XR, stop using it immediately and seek medical attention. We are not doctors, and this is not medical advice. Do your own research before taking any stimulants.
Will Addall XR make you fail a drug test?
There is nothing in addall XR to make you fail a drugs test. To our knowledge none of the ingredients are banned by major sports organisations, corporations or the military. GABA will make you unable to operate heavy machinery.
Is Addall XR dangerous?
In our opinion, Addall XR is potentially dangerous. It contains a potentially massive dose of caffeine, which depending on its size could cause severe side effects. Consuming large doses of caffeine long-term causes adverse effects.
Is Addall XR addictive?
Addall XR is potentially addictive depending on the dose of caffeine used and how often you take the supplement. Consuming large doses of caffeine every day inevitably leads to dependence and addiction.
Will Addall XR get you high?
No, Addall XR will not produce any kind of ‘high’. It likely contains a massive dose of caffeine which will cause side effects, but it will not produce euphoria (although it will leave you feeling “wired”).
Addall XR: Where to Buy
Addall XR can be purchased from the official website, and also on Amazon.com.
What is the Cost of Addall XR
When I first looked at the price of Addall XR, I thought I misread it. You will need to spend $26.97 to purchase a 3-pack with two capsules.
This works out to $4.50 per capsule
While you can make marginal savings by purchasing more packs, such as the 6, 12, and 24 packs, the price savings is minimal ($3.82 per capsule for a 24-pack bundle).
One dose equals two pills. In reality, you’d pay between $7-9 for each serving.
You should also remember that one dose equals 2 pills. Therefore, you will be paying $7-9 for each serving. It’s crazy expensive considering the cost of other nootropics pills, which is usually around $1 per capsule.
Addall XR Pros vs. Cons
There are many pros and cons to this product if you don’t know what I mean. Although Addall XR uses a lot great ingredients, there seem to be some concern about each one.
Pros
- Studies do back all ingredients
- Uses Bacopa monnieri, which is a fantastic all-round cognitive enhancer
- Vitamins B1, B2, and B6 play an important role in the conversion of food into energy
Cons
- PROPRIETARY BLEND! – Always a sign of a scam
- Bacopa Monnieri dosage not known
- Do you not know the correct dosage of GABA?
- Do you not know the caffeine dosage?
- Nothing like Adderall
- Bacopa monnieri only has benefits when taken long-term
- GABA has contradictory effects to caffeine – why stack them?!
- Just a cheap caffeine pill with some added ingredients
Addall XR Claims vs. Reality
We began this review by looking at the claims of this supplement. Three things were mentioned: energy, focus, and concentration.
Addall XR certainly takes care of energy with the caffeine and vitamins B1, B2, & B6. It is a bit difficult to tell if they have too much, as it would depend on the amount of caffeine. We don’t have that information unfortunately.
The three vitamins can convert food into energy. It is best to combine them with a healthy diet.
Bacopa Monnieri, GABA are great for focus and concentration. It will depend on how much you take. You should note that GABA taken in large amounts may not have the same positive effects as GABA taken in smaller amounts.
It makes you wonder why they didn’t use the 250-300mg Bacopa Monnieri. Take out the GABA, replace it with Citicoline, Alpha-GPC, then keep a safe amount of caffeine (100mg).
Addall XR Review Conclusion: Does it work as advertised?
Simply put, I love the ingredients. However, it is a bummer that they don’t give the dosages of the proprietary blend. I also think this supplement could be improved with a few more ingredients.
Based on the information I have been given, I recommend that you only take one capsule per day. You should eat a regular diet and not take the pills every day. To ensure your body is properly receiving the pills, test it first.
