Vyvamind Review Summary
Vyvamind is easily one of the best nootropics we have ever reviewed. The way SAP Nutra have formulated Vyvamind means it blends the best elements of nootropics and caffeine pills while also avoiding the most common side effects of both types of supplement. Our review team took Vyvamind for 8 weeks and found it to be highly effective for improving overall cognitive performance, as well as for maintaining energy levels and motivation. In fact, Vyvamind was more effective at boosting focus and eliminating fatigue than any other stimulant nootropic on the market. We cannot recommend this product highly enough!
What is Vyvamind?
Vyvamind is a brand new nootropic stack to hit the market. Created by SAP Nutra, a recently formed pharmaceutical and supplement company, Vyvamind is being described by users as “natural Vyvanse” due to its fast-acting effects and ability to boost concentration for prolonged periods, and it is frequently featured as top of lists of the best Adderall alternatives you can buy OTC.
According to SAP Nutra themselves, Vyvamind is purposefully designed to mimic the main benefits of stimulant-based ADHD drugs without causing any of the same side effects and without the need for a doctor’s prescription.
More specifically, Vyvamind has been developed to deliver the following benefits:
- Rapid increase in mental energy and stamina
- Shaper focus and greater concentration
- Makes you feel ‘locked in’ on tasks for hours
- Faster information processing
- Greater motivation to complete tasks
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Long-term brain health support
That is one comprehensive list of benefits. If SAP Nutra has actually managed to deliver all of these benefits in a single nootropic stack, then we’ll be mightily impressed.
The question is, does Vyvamind actually do all of these things?
The only way to find out is to do a detailed Vyvamind review. In the review below, we take a detailed look at Vyvamind’s ingredients, doses, side effects, costs and benefits to see if it is really the incredible focus-booster SAP make it out to be. Our review team will also be doing a trial of Vyvamind for 60 days to see how it works for them – read on to see how it went!
Vyvamind Ingredients
What is in Vyvamind? This is the most important question for a Vyvamind review to answer; more important than our own experiences even. It is ingredients that make a nootropic and dictate whether it is worth the money!
Here is the Vyvamind ingredients list as shown on the bottle:
Here is a list of Vyvamind’s ingredients with doses:
- Citicoline – 200mg
- Caffeine Anhydrous – 75mg
- Theanine – 150mg
- Tyrosine – 300mg
- Vitamin B12 – 2083% RDI
- Vitamin B6 – 147% RDI
As you can see, this is a fairly streamlined formula. Compared to the likes of Qualia Mind or Mind Lab Pro, Vyvamind uses relatively few ingredients. However, it appears to use only ingredients with proven, powerful nootropic effects, and the doses look very generous in the right places.
We will now go through each ingredient in Vyvamind in more detail to explain what it is, how it works, and whether it has a place in a top nootropic. If you have any questions, or you have experience with any of Vyvamind’s ingredients, please share them in the comments at the end.
Citicoline – 200mg
Citicoline is a potent nootropic compound which rapidly increases mental energy, sharpens focus, and increases processing speeds. In other words, it quickly enhances total brain performance.
Citicoline works primarily by boosting acetylcholine levels. Acetylcholine is the brain’s main executive neurotransmitter, responsible for information processing, speech, muscle contraction, working memory, and so on. By boosting acetylcholine, Citicoline enhances almost every aspect of executive brain function.
Citicoline has also been found to increase brain cell energy levels. It appears to do this by making your brain cells produce more mitochondria; the ‘engines’ of your cells. One study found that Citicoline increases brain energy by up to 13%. Or to use the words from the mentioned scientific study, “citicoline improves frontal lobe bioenergetics and alters phospholipid membrane turnover. Citicoline supplementation may therefore help to mitigate cognitive declines associated with aging by increasing energy reserves and utilization, as well as increasing the amount of essential phospholipid membrane components needed to synthesize and maintain cell membranes.”
Caffeine Anhydrous – 75mg
Caffeine needs no real introduction. It is by far and away the most widely-consumed drug in the world, and as a powerful natural stimulant, it is one of the best nootropics for energy and focus in existence. It very quickly eliminates fatigue, boosts mental energy levels and dramatically increases focus. Caffeine also boosts motivation, improves mood and overall promotes productivity.
Vyvamind uses caffeine anhydrous. This is a dehydrated form of caffeine which is much more potent than regular caffeine by weight. In simple terms, it hits harder! Vyvamind contains 75mg of caffeine anhydrous, which is an optimal dose for boosting energy without causing side effects.
Theanine – 150mg
Theanine is an amino acid known to counteract the side effects of stimulants, including caffeine. Combining theanine with caffeine has been shown to both reduce side effects from caffeine and to accentuate the benefits users get from the stimulant. On top of that, theanine has nootropic benefits of its own. Studies show theanine – when used alone – reduces anxiety, clears brain fog, and improves overall cognitive performance.
Vyvamind uses 150mg of caffeine to perfectly match the caffeine dose at a 2:1 ratio. This dosing ratio has been found to be optimal for theanine and caffeine in several clinical trials.
Tyrosine – 300mg
Tyrosine is perhaps the most interesting ingredient in Vyvamind. This amino acid is a fundamental building block of the neurotransmitter dopamine. Although it is popularly known as a ‘feel good’ neurotransmitter, dopamine is actually integral to a range of neurological processes and to brain performance more broadly. More than anything else, dopamine is responsible for motivating behavior.
Supplementing with Tyrosine has been found to dramatically increase motivation and drive, as well as to improve overall cognitive performance in stressful situations. One study found that Tyrosine supplementation boosted performance in tests in people subjected to sleep deprivation (source). The 300mg dose in Vyvamind is more than you need to see benefits.
Vitamin B12 – 2083% RDI
B12 is a common ingredient in nootropics. But it is far from a filler ingredient; large doses of B12 – as we get in Vyvamind – have significant effects on brain function and brain cell development. B12 is needed for neuron maintenance, growth and development. It is also integral to the metabolism of energy at the cellular levels.
Low levels of B12 will leave you feeling chronically fatigued and mentally sluggish. The 2000%+ RDI of B12 in Vyvamind will prevent this from happening while also supporting healthy brain cell development. B12 is also recommended for people using Adderall or Vyvanse, as it may help protect brain cells from stimulant-inflicted damage.
Vitamin B6 – 147% RDI
Like B12, Vitamin B6 is vital for energy metabolism. Supplementing with B6 can give you a noticeable lift in energy, both physical and mental. Combining B6 with the other ingredients in Vyvamind will compound this effect, giving you a significant lift in energy coupled with sharper focus, faster information processing and increased motivation.

Formula Analysis: Does Vyvamind Really Work?
Vyvamind has a fantastic formula which looks like it will perfectly match the promises made by SAP Nutra. It contains ingredients which can deliver on each of Vyvamind’s main promises, from boosting focus and increasing mental energy to supporting motivation and protecting long-term brain health.
We’re broadly impressed with the dosages used in Vyvamind.
Citicoline does the bulk of the work in the vast majority of nootropic stacks on the market today. Some of the best nootropics even use Citicoline to deliver most of their benefits. This is a function of the fact that Citicoline is a fantastic nootropic which delivers both instant and long-term benefits.
Vyvamind contains a solid 200mg of highly bioavailable Citicoline. This is the exact amount used in clinical trials which observed major increases in mental energy, focus and processing speeds from Citicoline supplements. Looking at the clinical data, this is also a sufficient dose to provide protection from brain injuries and to promote brain cell formation.
The 300mg of Tyrosine is more generous than you get from many of the leading nootropics today, including nootropics designed to boost motivation. The 75mg of caffeine anhydrous is exactly what we want to see in a comprehensive nootropic; this is the ideal dose for maximizing beneficial effects while keeping side effects to a minimum. Combined with 150mg of Theanine, this is spot-on caffeine dosing.
Overall then, the Vyvamind formula is really quite impressive. It is designed to produce quite specific benefits – something in between a caffeine pill and a nootropic. But SAP Nutra have made something more than either of these two supplement types.
Vyvamind is probably the closest thing you’ll find to Vyvanse or Adderall over the counter today. It delivers rapid and sustained focus and learning enhancement but without the jitters of powerful stimulants.
Our Vyvamind Review: 8 Weeks of intense focus
Our review team took Vyvamind for 8 weeks. Here is their account of how the trial went:
Week 1
The thing that stood out for us about Vyvamind was how quickly it started to work. Unlike most nootropic stacks, Vyvamind had a noticeable effect within about 90 minutes of taking the first capsule. This was true for 90% of the review team, with the rest reporting significant effects after 2-3 hours.
Another thing which struck us right away was that Vyvamind was not a caffeine pill. Instead of giving us an immediate buzz followed by 3 hours of jittery energy, Vyvamind locked us into about 6 hours of energetic focus and motivation, but without any of the anxious, nervous energy or crashes that come with simple caffeine pills.
Week 3
Week 3 is when Vyvamind really started to distinguish itself from basic caffeine pills, most natural nootropics, and from synthetic stimulant medications. A few members of our review team have tried ADHD medications before and found them to be, while effective, far too strong for their needs. Vyvamind seems to sit somewhere in the middle of all of these substances in terms of effects.
By the end of week 3, the majority of the review team felt significantly more focused and motivated on a day-to-day basis. Nobody had experienced any notable side effects by this point either; sleep quality was undisturbed and anxiety levels were – if anything – below baseline!
Week 8
Cognitive tests conducted throughout our trial of Vyvamind started to show big differences after week 8 (see graph 1). Here the divergence between Vyvamind and caffeine (the baseline we use for stimulants and study aids) became very pronounced. Scores on mentally taxing tests showed almost double improvement after Vyvamind compared to caffeine.
Not only that, but our review team reported feeling even more focused and ‘locked in’ on their work by week 8 than they did after week 4. This steady compounding of benefits over time is typical of nootropics like Citicoline and Tyrosine, but is not normally seen from caffeine, ADHD medication or other stimulants.
Beyond Week 8
Several members of the review team have continued to use Vyvamind on an almost daily basis. They find it acts as a vastly superior alternative to a second cup of coffee after they arrive at work. The fact that it supports and promotes rather than damages brain cell health while giving you a significant energy and focus boost is a huge draw for our reviewers.

Vyvamind Side Effects
Vyvamind has been specifically designed to act as a safe and side effect-free alternative to powerful stimulant medications and overdosed caffeine pills. While this is an unofficial name for the product, many users have taken to calling it “natural Vyvanse” because it has similar benefits as the ADHD medication without the associated side effect risks.
After looking at the ingredients, we can confirm that Vyvamind appears safe and side effect-free for the vast majority of users. None of the clinical trials done on these ingredients turned up serious side effects at the doses used in Vyvamind.
Obviously, caffeine can be extremely dangerous when consumed in large doses. Very large doses of caffeine can be fatal; caffeine overdose is rare but it has happened.
Thankfully Vyvamind only contains 75mg of caffeine anhydrous per serving. While more potent than regular caffeine, 75mg of caffeine anhydrous is unlikely to cause serious side effects. For context, this is about as much caffeine as you get in half a cup of freshly ground coffee.
That said, people can still experience side effects from this much caffeine. These side effects can include:
- Jitters
- Anxiety
- Heart palpitations
- Shortness of breath
- Irritability
- Confusion
- Energy crashes
- Headaches
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
Please note that these side effects are associated with large doses of caffeine. However, it is possible that you will experience these side effects while taking Vyvamind if you already consume a lot of caffeine through other sources or if you are highly sensitive to caffeine.
Our review team experienced no adverse effects while taking Vyvamind for up to 8 weeks.
Comparing Vyvamind With Other Nootropics
When reviewing any nootropic it is worth comparing it with other supplements promising to do the same things. While the nootropics below don’t claim to do the same things as Vyvamind, they are often compared against Vyvamind by virtue of them being some of the most popular cognitive enhancers on the market.
Vyvamind vs NooCube
Both Vyvamind and NooCube are frequently listed together on lists of the best nootropics for enhancing cognition.
Is one better than the other?
The answer is no, you cannot say that Vyvamind is better than NooCube or vice versa. The two nootropics are completely different to one another; they offer ver different benefits and should be used for different needs.
Vyvamind is high-performance brain fuel which you take when you need to stay at maximum focus and peak mental performance for several hours at a time.
NooCube, by contrast, is more long-term focused. Its formula contains some fast-acting nootropics, but it is primarily aimed at protecting brain cell health and improving memory function; benefits which takes months to really manifest.
Vyvamind and NooCube therefore have some overlap but they have distinct benefits and should be used accordingly.

Vyvamind vs Adderall
Vyvamind and Adderall are two supplements that target cognitive enhancement, but they differ in their approach, composition, and potential side effects.
Vyvamind is a natural nootropic supplement designed to improve focus, memory, and cognitive function. Its formula consists of a blend of ingredients such as caffeine, L-theanine, and Citicoline, which work synergistically to promote cognitive performance. Vyvamind is often referred to as a “natural Vyvanse” due to its stimulant effects, but it does not require a prescription and is generally considered safe for daily use with minimal side effects.
On the other hand, Adderall is a prescription medication commonly prescribed for the treatment of ADHD. It contains a combination of amphetamine salts, which work by increasing the levels of dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain. This results in enhanced focus, attention, and impulse control for individuals with ADHD. While Adderall can be highly effective for its intended use, it comes with a range of potential side effects and is not suitable for everyone.
In summary, while both Vyvamind and Adderall aim to improve cognitive performance, they cater to different needs and audiences. Vyvamind is a more accessible, natural alternative for individuals seeking to enhance their mental performance without a prescription, whereas Adderall is specifically designed for the treatment of ADHD and should only be taken under a doctor’s supervision.

Vyvamind FAQs
Do I need a prescription for Vyvamind?
No, you do not need a prescription for Vyvamind. This is the main reason why Vyvamind was created; to provide an effective focus and energy booster to people who struggle with learning and productivity without them needing a doctor’s prescription.
A previous version of Vyvamind may have required a prescription but the manufacturers removed any substances which may require a prescription from a pharmacist early in development.
Is Vyvamind “natural Vyvanse”?
Vyvamind is not intended to be a replacement to ADHD medications such as Vyvanse, Adderall or Focalin XR. The parallels drawn between Vyvamind and Vyvanse have been made by users and in part come from the similarity in the names of the two products.
That said, Vyvamind is probably as close as you can get to an over the counter Vyvanse or Ritalin without having to resort to potentially dangerous stimulants.
How long should I take Vyvamind?
Vyvamind was originally designed to be taken as and when you need a significant increase in mental energy, alertness, concentration and processing speeds far beyond what you can get from simply consuming more coffee. However, research (including our own) indicates that Vyvamind’s effects compound the longer you take it. Our review team took it almost every day consistently for 8 weeks and found that the benefits did improve with time.
Vyvamind Review Conclusion: Does it really work?
Vyvamind is easily one of the best nootropics we have ever reviewed. It is hands-down the best nootropic for energy we have ever reviewed, it is above and beyond every other caffeine pill on the market right now, and it is an excellent daily nootropic for people who wish to combine natural focus enhancers with potent caffeine anhydrous in the safest way possible.
In short, Vyvamind works. The benefits of taking Vyvamind on a regular basis include:
- Vastly greater mental and physical energy levels
- Noticeably more motivation and drive to complete tasks
- Creates an intense ‘tunnel vision’-like focus and concentration
- Actively reduces stress and anxiety
- Reduces side effects of caffeine
- Increases mental stamina all day long
Vyvamind is not just another caffeine pill. It actually improves the quality of your cognitive performance while also boosting energy levels. It does both of these things without causing side effects and while actively promoting brain cell health.
This is a seriously impressive nootropic and energy supplement. If you struggle with mental energy, focus and processing speeds late in the day, we think you should definitely give Vyvamind a try. Our experience tells us that using it for 8 weeks is a good idea as the benefits compound over time.
