Avantera Elevate Review Overview
Avantera Elevate claims to be a cutting-edge daily nootropic stack. In reality, it is a boring stack which uses proprietary blends, obvious filler ingredients and the same nootropic compounds we get from every other stack launched over the last 10 years. There is nothing to write home about here; we see no reason why anyone would pay top dollar to use Avantera Elevate, especially when there are far more comprehensive nootropics on the market for a lower price than this stack!
Many people are eager to find the latest nootropic supplements. Recently a company called Avantera launched a range of nootropic supplements which they claim are the overall best nootropic stacks that money can buy today. Of course, we’ve heard all this before. But what’s interesting is the number of positive Avantera reviews which have been published in the last few months. In particular, reviews of Avantera Elevate are popping up all over the place, with many claiming that it is the single best nootropic supplement today.
To find out if these claims are even remotely true, we need to do a proper review, looking at the Avantera Elevate ingredients, dosages, pros and cons, side effects, and costs. We also need to try Avantera Elevate ourselves to see if it really delivers the range of beneficial effects relating to executive cognitive performance that we are promised. Specifically, Elevate claims to reduce brain fog, help keep you focused and ‘locked in’, and improve overall brain function without causing adverse side effects.
This review will discuss the ingredients, benefits, claims and pricing of Avantera Elevate so that you can decide if it is worth your time. Are you ready to find out more? Let’s start with this Avantera Elevate review. Please post your experiences with Avantera Elevate in the comments section at the end.
About Avantera Elevate
Avantera Elevate is a relatively new nootropic stack. This supplement company is owned by the same people who created Avantera Unwind. It aims to offer high-quality products that can improve your health in many areas, with a specific focus on mental health, cognitive performance, mood, etc.
Avantera Elevate supposedly contains a combination of clinically proven ingredients. It is intended to be taken at the beginning of the morning to provide brain-boosting effects that last throughout the day. This will help users to improve mental performance, productivity, and overall mental health. A number of well-known plant and herbal extracts are included in Avantera Elevate, such as Bacopa Monnieri, l-theanine and turmeric.
Avantera Elevate Benefits (or so they say)
This nootropic simply claims to improve cognitive performance throughout the day. Avantera Elevate claims to increase energy, focus and mood. Here is a more detailed overview of the benefits that Avantera Elevate promises its users.
Energy and Focus
Avantera Elevate contains l-theanine and green tea. It also lists Bacopa Monnieri and CDP Choline on the ingredients list. These ingredients are known to increase acetylcholine levels (a key neurotransmitter), improve working memory and help reduce brain fog. All of the best nootropics for energy contain L-Theanine and caffeine since these ingredients so reliable boost mental energy and focus.
Memory
Bacopa monnieri is a powerful memory-boosting nootropic. There is some debate about its exact mechanism of action, but at least one clinical trial has found strong evidence that Bacopa works by boosting the growth of the dendrites that connect your neurons.
Lions mane mushroom also enhances memory by increasing the expression of Nerve growth Factor (NGF). CDP choline and turmeric also provide memory support and overall brain health. However, it is unlikely – impossible in fact – for all of these ingredients to be dosed how they need to be to produce optimal effects. We can therefore only talk with certainty about the memory-enhancing effects of Bacopa monnieri since we know how that ingredient is dosed.
Mood
L-theanine is used to improve mood by acting on dopamine, serotonin and GABA receptors in the brain. Studies have shown that consuming L-Theanine supplements helps control stress and anxiety and improve mood. Theanine is particularly effective at controlling the anxiety that accompanies caffeine consumption.
Avantera Elevate Ingredients
The only way to see if Avantera Elevate really works is to look at the ingredients. if it doesn’t have the right nootropics to back up its claims, then it wont work – simple!
Avantera Elevate comes in two capsules. Here’s the ingredient list for Avantera Elevate:
- Avantera Mood and Gut Health Mix (355mg) includes:
- Turmeric Root Powder
- Organic Lion’s Mane Mycelium powder
- Bioperine Black Pepper Fruit Extract
- Bacopa Herb Extract (300mg), containing:
- Bacosides (150mg)
- Avantera Focus and Energy Mix (295mg) includes:
- CDP Choline
- L-Theanine
- Caffeine (from Green Tea Leaf Extract).
Here is the Elevate ingredients list as it appears on the bottle:
As you can see, a HUGE problem with Avantera Elevate is the fact that it uses proprietary blends. This is a massive disappointment from a new nootropic supplement. Proprietary blends were common among brain pills around 10 years ago, but modern, professional-quality brain supplements tend to have completely transparent formulas with all dosages listed clearly on the label. Manufacturers only use proprietary blends when they have something to hide – nobody steals formulas, and there’s nothing special about the Avantera Elevate ingredients list that warrants secrecy!
Avantera Mood & Gut Health Blend
Let’s take a closer look at Avantera Mood & Gut Health Blend. It contains turmeric and Bioperine.
Turmeric
Turmeric, a spice with a lot of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, is due to curcumin, a polyphenol found in it. Supplementation can also improve anxiety and depression. This is likely due to a decrease in neuroinflammation and an increase in brain-derived neurotrophic factor. Supplementation can also prevent chronic stress-induced brain dysfunction.
It is a very effective neuroprotective in general, especially when taken at a minimum of 500mg per day. Turmeric may also improve gut function by decreasing inflammation and improving the composition of the gut microbiota.
Lion’s Mane
The lion’s mane mushroom is similar in many ways to turmeric. It also contains a variety of bioactive compounds, which are anti-inflammatory as well as antioxidants. Lion’s Mane mushroom may also promote the growth and development of neurons. This mushroom is also known to increase serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine.
Research has shown that the lion’s-mane mushroom can reduce anxiety, depression, cognitive function, and neuroprotective effects. It may also improve immune function and promote good bacteria growth in the gut. This could lead to better gut health. Use at least 500mg.
Bioperine
Bioperine is the final ingredient in this blend. It is a black pepper extract. Bioperine is an important ingredient because it enhances the absorption of both turmeric and lion’s mane. Bioperine, which is a turmeric-based supplement, can actually increase the absorption rate by up to 2,000 percent. Increasing the absorption means that the ingredients will work better.
Bacopa Monnieri
Elevate also contains an extract of Bacopa Monnieri, or Bacopa. Bacopa, which is a herb rich in bioactive compounds, has a variety of benefits, including bacosides. It is an anti-inflammatory herb that has been shown to be powerful and antioxidant. Additionally, it can dramatically decrease neuronal oxygenative stress. This can have neuroprotective effects as well as improving memory. Bacopa’s ability to increase acetylcholine is also responsible for memory-enhancing properties.
Bacopa, in some studies, has been shown to decrease anxiety and depression by increasing levels GABA and serotonin. Commonly, 300-600mg is taken with half of the bacosides.
Avantera Focus & Energy Blend
Elevate also includes Avantera Focus and Energy Blend. This blend contains CDP Choline, l–theanine and green tea leaf extract caffeine.
CDP Choline
CDP choline (also known as Citicoline) of choline acts as a precursor for the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine. Because acetylcholine plays a role in many cognitive functions, it is clear that CDP choline can improve cognition. This is due to the fact that CDP Choline increases phosphatidylcholine which is a key component of cell membranes. Research has shown that supplementing with CDP choline can improve memory and attention, and could be beneficial for those suffering from cognitive impairments.
L-Theanine
L-Theanine is mainly derived from green tea. Firstly, l’theanine can increase brain alpha waves. These are linked with a calm, but alert, state of mind. Its ability to increase GABA levels, as well as dopamine and serotonin, may contribute to this effect. L-theanine may also reduce anxiety and stress, and improve sleep quality. Research on l-theanine has shown that it can have neuroprotective effects as well as improving cognitive function such attention. Research usually uses 200-400mg.
Caffeine/Green Tea Extract
Combining a small amount of caffeine with l-theanine can make the effects even more powerful. Elevate contains a small amount of caffeine. Green tea extract also contains caffeine. The benefits of green tea include reducing anxiety, improving memory, attention, working memory and overall neuroprotective effects.
Does Avantera Elevate Work?
Avantera Elevate will work in some way to improve brain health and performance, but it is unlikely to work exactly as advertised.
The active ingredients in Avantera Elevate have been clinically tested and there is a lot evidence to support them. But because Elevate uses proprietary blends, we can only say for certain that one ingredient is dosed sufficiently to produce benefits. That ingredient is Bacopa monnieri.
So while there is a very good serving of Bacopa monnieri in Elevate, but there is not enough turmeric or lion’s mane. To reap the maximum benefits from these ingredients, you need at least 500mg of each. The total blend of these ingredients weighs only 355mg.
There may or not be enough CDP choline, l-theanine, and/or green Tea Extract. The total blend weighs 295mg. These ingredients don’t need to be used in large quantities, but there is no way to fit enough of each ingredient into 295mg. L-theanine is usually best taken with at least 200mg. The same goes for Citicoline.
It is therefore not clear if this blend will work. You should consider the synergistic effects that may occur when ingredients are combined, but some doses may be extremely low (included purely for the label).

Avantera Elevate vs Adderall: Which is better?
Avantera Elevate is nothing like Adderall. While many of the Elevate ingredients are known to help with symptoms of ADHD, we do not know the exact dosages in each serving of Elevate so we cannot say whether the supplement will be beneficial for people with ADHD/ADD or not. Avantera Elevate is not a substitute or alternative to Adderall or any ADHD drugs.
How long does Avantera Elevate take to work?
Some users report feeling benefits in 20-30 minutes after taking Avantera Elevate. This is likely the result of a large dose of caffeine and potentially a good serving of Citicoline.
How long does Elevate last?
In theory, a single tub of Elevate should last you 30 days. However, many people end up double-dosing Avantera Elevate. So in practice, many people find that a single bottle of Avantera Elevate only lasts around 15 days.
Does Avantera Elevate help with weight loss?
Some nootropics are marketed as weight loss aids. Avantera Elevate might help with your weight loss efforts by helping to support cognitive performance while you diet. Brain fog often accompanies diets, which saps motivation to keep dieting. The 45mg of caffeine in Elevate will also help with your weight loss efforts. But Elevate is not the best nootropic for supporting a diet or training regimen.

Where can I buy Avantera Elevate?
You can purchase Elevate from the Avantera website. As far as we are aware, the brand has no plans to start selling on Amazon, Walmart, Walgreens or CVS.
Each container contains 30 servings (60 capsules). Elevate will set you back $64.95, if you buy it once. For $49.95, you can subscribe to Elevate to receive it every 30 day. The price per serving ranges between $1.67 and over 2 dollars. It is therefore quite expensive. It is, however, intended to be an all-in-one product so it is worth looking at.
Avantera Elevate Review Conclusion: Is it the best nootropic?
After doing a thorough review of Avantera Elevate and its ingredients/dosages, we are confident in saying that this is far from the best nootropic on the market today.
For a few different reasons, we cannot recommend Elevate to our readers, or to anyone looking for better cognitive performance or help avoiding cognitive decline.
You can see the main problem with Elevate when you look at the ingredients list: proprietary blends.
You don’t necessarily need a ridiculously wide range of natural nootropics to see beneficial effects, but you do need to use the right doses of proven cognitive enhancers. Because Elevate uses proprietary blends, we have no idea how any of the ingredients are dosed. This is almost always a sign that you’re being ripped off.
Elevate could contain up to 1400mg of caffeine, or 1400mg of gamma-amino butyric acid (GABA). Either of these scenarios is extremely dangerous. While unlikely, we simply don’t know, and the side effects of these doses are severe.
If you’re looking for a nootropic supplement to help you maintain healthy stress levels, improve all aspects of brain function without causing adverse effects, we think you can do a lot better than Avantera Elevate.
There are more effective supplements on the market right now for improving cognitive performance and protecting against age-related cognitive decline, and some of them cost less than Avantera Elevate.
